Vicious Killer Attack Kitchen Tools

Jet ski hair

The beach in La Jolla

Brenda has been called to serve as the ward choir director. Todd guessed right, but he refuses to post here!

Joy skied, jet-skied, explored and ate good food at Lake Powell. He came home sore but relaxed.

Kara has proclaimed Mom and Dad "the wicked king and queen."

Amy had a bit of a trauma last night. She decided to try peeling an apple by herself (without asking) and took a good chunk of flesh out of her left thumb. Mom couldn't get it to stop bleeding, so she called Dad. The van was in the shop getting its windshield replaced, so Dad's car was our only travel option. So he came home from work in the middle of a crisis and took us to Instacare. They couldn't do anything about it and sent us to the ER. We spent $75 and 2 hours there, even though we were put in one of the "fast track" rooms.

The doctor put a Thrombi-Pad on to help the blood clot and then wrapped her thumb up in pink (!) tape and sent us home. Amy will wear that for the next couple of days and it should heal with no problems. She was actually in pretty good spirits most of the night and only cried when someone touched her thumb. Kara did pretty well too, even with all the waiting and nothing to do.

QOSROIT: Doing anything fun for Memorial Day?

We just got new backpacks. So we planned to send most of the weekend hiking. Sigh...it has been raining all week, so no hiking for us :o(

Not at all. Ugh.

We don't have any major plans either. We're grilling for dinner and maybe having a family movie night.

We'll probably spend some time working in the yard too. We have some weeds that need to be pulled and tulip bulbs to dig up. Fun, fun, fun.
