We're So Egg-cited (har har har!)

The girls with their Easter loot

All of Brenda's musical performances went well last weekend, including the duet. She wasn't even nervous when it was time to sing. shocked

Kara has had a huge potty training setback. She has been having accidents for the last week or so, and has only actually made it to the bathroom a couple of times. Argh.

Amy
is becoming quite the little reader. We read together every night at bedtime, and then she reads on her own after she's in bed. We usually leave the hall light on for 15 minutes after we tuck them in, but lately she has been asking for extra time so she can read. Sometimes she even opens the blinds after we turn off the light so she can read by the neighbor's kitchen light! grin

Joy is leaving on Sunday to spend 4 days in Orlando. None of the rest of us are the least bit jealous, of course.

Interesting stuff:

-Inventor of the Segway sets out to change the world

-A wind farm being built in our neck of the woods

Reasons for Grey Hair

Brenda's Relief Society birthday
cake decorating contest entry

Amy has decided she is going to
master the use of a knife.

This week Kara is Sleeping Beauty, and Dad is her "Prince Philick."

Amy had a field trip to the BYU planetarium last week. She said her favorite part was the geodes they had on display there.

Between choir rehearsals, concerts, dressmaking, visiting teaching, a cake decorating contest and all the usual household chores, Brenda is having the ultimate crazy week. However, she does still have all her hair...for now.

Joy has apparently regressed to toddlerhood, at least in the girls' eyes. Kara recently told him, "Dad, I've had enough of your whining."

QOSROIT: What are your Easter traditions?

Happy Easter!

Pure Imagination

Pajama picture outtake

Amy sang in the first grade choir
for a school fundraiser called Wonka World

After Mom told her that she would be grounded for the day, Amy announced her intentions to "run away from our house."

Kara is in that "I'm not Kara, I'm Cinderella" stage.

Brenda ditched choir practice this week. devil

Joy has had a rough few days at work this week. Hallelujah for the weekend!

QOSROIT: 1. Will you wear green on Monday? 2. Do you have any Irish ancestors?

Happy Pi Day, beware the Ides of March and happy St. Patrick's Day!

Excuse Me

Pool shark

New jammies

Kara
to Mom after passing gas: "Excuse me. That was my bottom. It burped."

Amy is up to a level H in reading and also doing well in math. She is an all-around good student.

Joy has been invited to a 4-day Lake Powell adventure in May with some other guys from work as a reward for completing a big web project.

As you can see from the picture above, Brenda finally completed a project of her own - flannel nightgowns just in time for spring. Now hopefully she can get Easter dresses finished before Memorial Day.

QOSROIT: Do you have any projects you are working on/want to work on?
