The girls pose at Arches National Park

We got a brand new 7-week-old kitten!

Meow, meow, meow, meow:

Amy named our new kitty Aurora, sight unseen.

Joy has been working in the garden putting down weed control tarp this week. We also transplanted our two burning bushes from the side bed to the front. We're hoping they'll do better in full sun.

Brenda got Amy's flu but is finally starting to feel better.

Kara started saying "train" on our way home from Arizona, but she insists that trucks are trains.

QOSROIT: Do you garden? Green thumb, black thumb or somewhere in between?

Amy and her Easter basket

Kara and her Easter basket

If you don't like the weather in Utah, wait 5 minutes:

Kara said her first sentence this morning: "Mamy hurt."

Poor Amy is sick. Throwing up, no appetite and other unpleasant symptoms. Hopefully she's better in the next day or so.

Brenda sang in an Easter choir concert on Friday night. It was awesome.

Joy can't believe that it's snowing. Again.

American Cutie - T-shirt weather at last!

The latest fashion in toddler-wear.

The latest and greatest:

Kara is saying new words every day now. Her most recent: hat, full and fuh-fuh (elephant).

Amy told us this week that when you're sick you take vitamins and they suck out all the germs. Learn something new everyday.

Brenda has lost her voice for the fourth time in the last six months. Her fault this time, though. One should not sing high notes when one has a cold.

Joy is so excited to start doing yardwork this year that he's agreed to mow a neighbor's lawn while they're out of town too.

Amy's latest favorite pastime is drawing pictures
of the Little Mermaid.

One of Kara's unique sleeping positions

Part of Our World:

We told Amy that she has a few freckles on her nose. She got a distressed look on her face and asked, "Can you get them off?"

When Amy achieved an objective on her Nintendo game, we all cheered for her. Kara put her fist in the air and said, "Yay!"

Joy has safely returned from Palm Springs. The verdict is that the conference wasn't as good as last year. They didn't have a chocolate fountain.

Brenda got sick over the weekend. Some stomach thing. But it's over.

QOSROIT: What's the weather like?
