For the 4th of July we went to the Balloon Fest.
Kara was too awe-struck to look at the camera.
Oh, say, can you see:Kara was too awe-struck to look at the camera.
Amy taught Kara how to play "Ring Around the Rosey." They chased each other around the couch and fell down. So later we heard Kara singing, "Rosey...ashes...fall down!"
Kara is also learning to count. She knows what comes after 7. She'll say the numbers one by one with Amy until they get to 7, and then she'll say, "seven eight." Maybe we should have Amy teach her to count in Spanish too.
Joy got to spend the day with Amy on Saturday. She went with him to drop Mary off at the airport, and they spent some time at the mall and went out to lunch. They explored a chocolate shop and a Build-a-Bear store. Plus a couple of hours of driving time. Both of them really liked spending time together.
Did we mention that Brenda has a cell phone now? The only problem is that she keeps forgetting to take it with her.
QOSROIT: What did you do for the 4th of July?
Love,
The Petersons

Josh took me clothes shopping for my birthday. It was fabulous!
We went to the Balloon Fest in Provo and then ate breakfast at IHOP. We grilled steak for dinner and then set off a few fireworks (ours were the legal kind, but some of our neighbors had been to Wyoming).
